skin care- deep dive into cleansers
Last week, I gave an overview for each of the skin care steps that I've researched. Each Sunday, I'm doing a deep dive into each step and what I've learned about the products. This week is: CLEANSER
This is a first step for the morning and the night skincare routine. The difference is you want a gentle cleanser in the morning and an exfoliating cleanser for some nights. A cleanser helps to get all of the gunk and product out of your pores and off of your skin. If you use an exfoliating cleanser too often, it may irritate your skin. I find the balm/butter cleansers to feel really nice and soft on the skin and to be the most casual to use around other people.
I’ve heard that these are good: (prices are all estimates)
Neutrogena Wipes $5 (what I use at night for a 1st cleanse)
Clinique Take the Day Off Oil $30 (what I use at night for a 2nd cleanse)
Clinique Take the Day Off Balm $35 (what I use- travel 2nd cleanser)
Tula Gentle Milk Cleanser $35 (on my wishlist)
Drunk Elephant Butter Cleanser $35 (I have used this and love it)
Mamonde Petal Spa Oil to Foam $20
GlamGlow Supercleanse $30
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser $40
