• Morning- Local Coffee Shop @ Zendo Coffee Shop
• Review: Amazing Southwest vibes—delicious seasonal drink of spiced pear cappuccino; beautiful plants growing everywhere; sick art; sweet workers and honestly clientele. I love that the outdoor patio is shared by equally cool businesses. 

• The International Museum of Nuclear Science and History
• Review: Really cool and well done. The museum is HUGE. They really tie in everything that is nuclear related and are very thoughtful from the periodic table on the floor to the fully history of use in weaponry and life-sized replicas and real planes to the children’s section to explaining nuclear energy and even pop culture. The workers and docents were all so knowledgeable and kind. This is a must see.

• Petroglyph National Monument
• Review: So interesting! We climbed up Boca Negra Canyon—very easy and some really interesting looking petroglyphs. My Vejas were totally fine going up here, I saw some people who used walkers making their way up even (would not recommend, but they got to the top!)

• Cafe 6855
• Review: Delicious and fabulous service. We got the queso (I’m from TX and the chips were perfectly crunchy, great seasoning, and nice thick queso). I had the BLT and ham and it was so good and great structural integrity—yum!! Really refreshing and the bacon was not fatty. Fries also delicious. The Cobb salad is grilled romaine—make sure you like that before ordering. The Ruben also got great reviews from my group. The service was fantastic- Audrey was an rockstar. Great atmosphere. Overall a little expensive, but totally worth it.

Saturday- International Balloon Fiesta

• International Balloon Fiesta
• Review: Such a crazy experience! So cool to see nearly 700 hot air balloons taking off!!! They had lines of balloons that were actually touching each other so close together all going up—one right after another. The dawn patrol going up before the sun even began to rise was gorgeous. The line for merch was very long, but only lasted about 30 minutes, it moved so quickly. Everyone there was so nice. My favorite were the balloons that were different shapes like the Smokey Bear and other animals. We woke up around 2:30 am and left our hotel around 3:30 am to go to Cottonwood Mall to catch the bus. We were the beginning of the 3rd bus to roll out. Bring snacks because the lines are long (but they do have lots of snack options.) You could fly out that evening if you wanted to, we were exhausted and could not have gone back for the evening portion even if the weather had cooperated.
• Red Rock Deli
• Review: Delicious!! I had the classic dog and it was perfect—the flavor was great! Great prices and the service and family were very friendly and helpful!! Great selection in the deli. Also the strawberry dessert was insanely delicious.
